My philosophy of shooting is based on one very simple concept: Follow your heart.

I feel that photography is about capturing life the way your heart sees it – that innate sense of what makes a beautiful and unique photograph.

My photographic approach is mostly photojournalistic, by blending into what is naturally occurring in order to create a documentation of images filled with real meaning and to be able to capture people’s personalities and emotions. From a personal stand point, that is what makes a photograph memorable and what ultimately reveals the uniqueness of an individual.

I live on beautiful Maui, Hawaii, where I find so much inspiration, and where I get to meet many of the great people that make my work possible and meaningful.
